
Study results of a clinical trial are published
An oral magnesium supplementation over 8 weeks alleviated stress in healthy adults with low magnesemia. The addition of vitamin B6 to Mg did not show any further beneficial effect when compared with Mg supplementation alone.
However, for the subgroup of severe and extremely severe stressed participants this study provides clinical support for greater benefit of Mg combined with vitamin B6.
