Real-World-Data / Medicinal Registries
Real-World-Data (RWD) refers to data collected outside of controlled clinical trials. In contrast to clinical trials, which often have strict inclusion criteria, RWD reflects the actual healthcare situation. They therefore come from everyday healthcare sources, such as electronic patient records, health insurance data or registries.
Medical Registries are a central source of RWD and provide valuable insights into long-term treatment outcomes, quality of care and safety profiles of therapies. These can be registers on patient groups, diseases or special treatments.
RWD and registries are indispensable tools in today's research. They contribute to improving patient care, evaluating the efficacy and safety of therapies and making informed healthcare decisions. With the increasing availability and integration of such data, new opportunities for research and development are emerging.
As a CRO, we offer support in the design, implementation and maintenance of registries.
